Amanda was the first model I shot in a studio. I was pretty open about what was happening – I was learning to use lights and camera settings and poses. Even so, she agreed, threw herself into the shoot and I have to say I’m pretty happy with what came out the other side. Headshots We played around with standard headshots. Then we got bored and started mucking around. Then the dancing started Unsurprisingly, she was pretty good at it. Even without music. Picking up a Jazz Club Vibe We played with a few props. I think she’s got potential as a singer in a Jazz Club It was a good first experience. The fun we had was infectious and while I’ve had to work to commissions, I always prefer to mix up some ad hoc improvisation. It makes for more energetic, exciting and rewarding work.
