These images of Nikki Hambry were taken with a single strobe light…

These three images are from a shoot that happened back in the dark mists of time. I was experimenting with single flash lighting at the time and had a relatively inexpensive strobe and umbrella that I took to studios all over the country. Using backgrounds and reflectors, I created a style for myself that I enjoyed playing with.

Nikki was a model I worked with a couple of times. Later I did a shoot for her when she launched her burlesque themed shop.

And before that was the wood

This was my second shoot with Nikki. The first was in a wood in Harrow.
